EFT stands for 'Emotional Freedom Technique' and it's just that - it's a technique that enables emotional and cognitive shifts; giving you emotional freedom from issues, patterns and beliefs that are holding you back or causing you pain. You may have heard it called 'tapping'. EFT works by tapping on different acupoints on the body whilst tuning into an issue and repeating a reminder phrase. This reduces the fight or flight signal from the brain and releases energetic trauma.
I discovered EFT when therapy wasn't working for me. I felt as though I was going around in circles talking and I needed a physical shift to happen; I could logically and rationally understand my issues but I couldn't embody it as wisdom and feel peace. Working through anxiety using EFT was hugely beneficial and reduced my physical symptons after just a few sessions. When I later suffered with depression, EFT got me through some of my darkest days. It's a tool that has been invaluable to have at my disposal and I trained so that I could help others make positive shifts too.

Whilst we know about the benefits of physical exercise and nutrition to reduce our stress, emotional health is something that can often be overlooked. Through EFT we'll release negative emotional patterns contributing to stress and reduce fear responses.
The intense desire to do everything perfectly and the fear of making mistakes can mean that you're trying to hold on so tightly to many things in life. To be human is to be beautifully messy. Through EFT we'll get creativity flowing, your freedom back, release fears and allow you to move forward.

EFT uses gentle stimulation (tapping) of the meridian points (the same points used in treatments such as acupuncture), while simultaneously tuning into and repeating phrases linked to the issue at hand. This dual attention helps your brain process emotions on a subconscious level, reducing fight or flight signals, resulting in emotional and cognitive shifts.
I provide email support between sessions and recommend that you practice tapping independently too. I'll provide you with the tools to do this.
